Jessica Mason is a professional artist who specializes in acrylic and mixed media paintings, graphic design and textile design. Her eclectic style and broad portfolio is influenced by her childhood. Jessica was raised in a military family, exposing her to diversity, culture and art from all over the world. With a passion for creating, Jessica studied Studio Art and Graphic Design at Texas State University graduating with a BFA in Communication Design in 2008. After college, she moved to San Antonio, Texas where she applied her graphic design and studio art skills to manufacture, market and sell yoga mat bag carriers. These bags were sold in yoga studios and fitness boutiques in central Texas. After a move to Austin, Texas, she refined her creative output by focusing on creating art for homes and businesses through her website GetArtmosphere.com. Partnering with interior designers, business owners and art lovers, Jessica has adorned many walls and interiors with inspiring work specific to each client’s needs. Jessica’s work is described as modern, abstract and expressionistic. Influences come from artists and art movements such as Wassily Kandinsky, Lee Krasner, Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Franz Kline, ancient Mayan art and abstract expressionists.
